The Nattfari Motorcycle Club was established on may 5th, 2006. We're a traditional motorcycle club and our members share a common passion for motorcycles.

The club is a non-profit organization formed to promote safe and fun motorcycle riding for people of all ages and abilities.  Excitingly, our membership has been growing steadily and our total club membership numbers continue to climb.  What better place for family fun and riding comradery among those having similar interests.

Weekly meetings are held the every Thursday at 8:00 P.M. at our club house,"The White House",  Shell Gas Station, Héðinsbraut 6, 640 Húsavík, Iceland

Náttfari (nightwalker) escaped from Garðar Svavarsson with a slave and a woman when Garðar set sail to the Hebrides from his new found land which he named Garðarshólmi, now known as Iceland, in the 9th century.

Garðar reached the shores of Iceland on the north coast, near Húsavík. Náttfari, as stated before, escaped with a slave and an ambátt (female slave) and found a place for himself to live, nowadays known as Náttfaravík (Nightwalker's Creeks), which are situated directly opposite to the town of Húsavík, in the Skjálfandi Bay.
